Services for the Unhoused

Homelessness, Substance misuse, and Mental Health Disorders frequently coexist, and many people who are dealing with these problems are unable to access the support they require. Homelessness is defined as: a person or family lacking fixed, regular, & adequate nighttime residence, who will imminently lose their primary nighttime residence, or are fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence.  

CBWF offers services to address serious mental health illness, or concurring mental health /substance abuse disorders to individuals, and families, who are experiencing homelessness.  

Services Offered for Qualifying:  

  • Mental health counseling 

  • Peer support 

  • Case management 

  • Support services: transportation, linkage and rental assistance with recovery housing 

  • Inpatient (detox and residential)  

  • Incentives (food pantry. bus passes, gift cards) 

  • Must be engaged in program to receive incentives* 

Counties served: Nueces, San Patricio, Kleberg, and Aransas
