At the CBWF we promote wellness at all ages and stages of life. Keep active and stay youthful with our seniors group classes that incorporate moderate physical activity, education, and skill building to benefit your overall health!
Falls Prevention
CBWF provides an evidence-based falls prevention program to adults 60 years and older to empower them to reduce falls and/or risk of falls.
Benefits of Falls Prevention Education
Improve balance, physical activity, and range of motion skills to maintain mobility and independence
Improve confidence and quality of living
Introduce steps to reduce falls and improve health and well-being
Stepping On
A small-group workshop to assist older adults to take control of their falls risk, explore different coping behaviors and encourage follow-through of safety strategies in everyday life. A free program offered in a two-hour session once a week for seven weeks, followed by a home visit or phone call to each participant after the seven sessions, and a booster session three months later. Eligible for persons 60 years and older who have fallen or who have a fear of falling to recognize.

Bingocize
Our Falls Prevention is now offering Bingocize! Bingocize is a free 10-week health promotion program that combines the game of bingo with fall prevention exercise. Eligible for persons 60 years and older.
