Assistance with parenting items (i.e. diapers, formula, car seats, etc.) may also be provided.
PADRE (Parenting Awareness and Drug Risk Education) is our program for fathers involved with Child Protective Services (CPS). Through PADRE, we offer intensive case management, outpatient chemical dependency treatment, parenting education, and counseling services. Additionally, we provide assistance with diapers, children’s toys, children’s clothing, and other related items. PADRE can also supply clients with public transportation passes as needed.
At Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, we are a Texas State DSHS licensed facility and provide a Matrix intensive outpatient treatment program for adults dealing with chemical dependency. This program includes individual and group counseling, education, and case management. Our program aims to assist clients in developing the skills to navigate the early recovery process, and we also focus on relapse prevention and cognitive-behavioral coping strategies.
We offer general counseling services for children, teens, and adults struggling with life challenges and in need of a safe space to be heard without judgment. These life stressors faced by our clients may include grief, low self-esteem, anger management, depression, anxiety, or postpartum distress. We aim to provide support and unconditional positive regard for all individuals seeking services.
